SAVANNAH, GA – PureSpectrum, Inc. (Pink Sheets: PSPM) has announced that lighting industry veteran Garth Kullman has been hired as Vice President of Sales.

Kullman is a former sales executive for Westinghouse Electric Corporation and will spearhead the introduction of PureSpectrum’s energy efficient ballast technology into the marketplace. PureSpectrum, Inc. owns the rights to 13 patents and patents pending related to the development of an innovative electronic ballast design that will be marketed globally in 2007 after being in development for more than three years.

“Garth Kullman’s familiarity with the lighting industry and leadership qualities make him a perfect fit to represent our technology,” said PureSpectrum president Lee Vanatta. “We feel like we have a technology that can improve the quality of lighting in the United States and internationally. In order to move our technology to the forefront of the lighting industry, we felt we needed someone like Garth with a proven history of establishing a rapport with the important players.”

Independent testing performed in 2006 on PureSpectrum prototypes indicate that T-4 fluorescent lamps powered by PureSpectrum’s technology are approximately 30 percent more efficient than Energy Star requirements. The company is currently developing additional prototypes to submit for testing in other lighting categories, including High Intensity Discharge and Compact Fluorescent lighting.
