PureSpectrum, Inc. filing for additional patents

SAVANNAH, GA – PureSpectrum, Inc. (Pink Sheets: PSPM) announced today that the company plans to file two additional patent applications.
PureSpectrum currently owns the rights to 13 patents and patent applications related to an innovative electronic ballast technology which produces a purified waveform during the transfer of electric current that reduces disharmony and promotes energy efficiency. In addition to increasing energy efficiency, bulbs using the PureSpectrum ballast design create a cleaner, whiter light which closely emulates the properties of natural sunlight.
Independent testing performed in 2006 on PureSpectrum prototypes indicate that T-4 fluorescent lamps powered by PureSpectrum’s technology are approximately 30 percent more efficient than Energy Star requirements. The full test results are available online at http://www.purespectrumlighting.com/UnderCabinetTestResults.pdf.

“The additional patent applications will significantly augment PureSpectrum’s patented and patent pending technology,” said PureSpectrum patent attorney Kevin Barner of Roylance, Abrams, Berdo and Goodman, L.L.P. in Washington, D.C
