Lighting company’s leadership recognized for promoting energy conservation and environmental preservation by providing high performance products

SAVANNAH, GA – PureSpectrum (OTCBB: PSRU) President and Chief Executive Officer Lee Vanatta was selected as the Entrepreneur of the Year by the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce this week in an awards ceremony in Savannah, Ga.

Mr. Vanatta was representing the company in New York and was unable to personally receive the award, but he said he was honored and humbled by the award.

“I was deeply honored and appreciative of this recognition from the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and grateful to the company’s staff and shareholders for putting me in a position to represent them,” Vanatta said. “As we continue to follow our vision and PureSpectrum continues to expand in both size and scope, I think it will be important for our entire company to remember that this company’s success is predicated on the hard work that we did during this past year. Our executive leadership and board of directors has instituted the product development strategy and built the organizational structure that will enable the company to be in position to be a leading provider of high performance, energy efficient lighting.”

During the past year, PureSpectrum has introduced its initial energy efficient product offerings and aggressively marketed the company’s dimmable Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) and linear fluorescent domestically and internationally. The company recently added its first LED product to its product line and finished certification testing on several additional CFL products which will become available during the third quarter.

“Our vision for this company has always been to provide consumers with high quality energy efficient lighting products, because we believe that’s what the consumer deserves and we know that’s what the environment needs,” Vanatta said. “We believe our approach to green lighting and the products we are bringing to market can have a global impact, and I am excited that our community leaders in Savannah recognized the uniqueness of our company’s development philosophy. As our business expands across continents and time zones, hopefully we will be able to continue being a leader in our community’s green movement and also play a larger role in the overall global greening that is taking place.”
