National distributor Service Concepts services cooperatives

that provide energy power to 42 million people in 47 states

SAVANNAH, GA – PureSpectrum, Inc. (Pink Sheets: PSPM) and Service Concepts, a national electrical distributor, are working together to direct mail PureSpectrum product samples to Service Concepts’ entire customer base of more than 900 power providers in 47 states.

The mailing will occur this week and will include a PureSpectrum 20-watt dimmable Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) as well as a letter from Service Concepts endorsing the product as the most dependable high performance dimmable CFL on the market. The mailing will also include sales and marketing materials from PureSpectrum, and PureSpectrum plans to follow the initial mailing with additional communications to Service Concepts customers during the remainder of the year.

“As energy efficiency and energy conservation have become increasingly more important, there has been a consistent demand for a high performance dimmable CFL among our customers who have come to expect high performance products from us and we had not been able to identify a product that satisfies our customers’ expectations until we found PureSpectrum,” said Service Concepts COO Rob Kirkpatrick. “After seeing the performance of PureSpectrum’s dimmable CFL, we are confident that our utilities will be interested in promoting the bulbs. I would expect demand for the product to remain consistent and potentially increase once people know there is a dimmable CFL that actually works as advertised. We are constantly looking to identify high quality new products, and we are excited to be able to deliver PureSpectrum’s 20-watt dimmable CFL to our customers.”

Service Concepts is a nationwide distributor that distributes products and services to rural cooperatives and transmission and generation cooperatives which serve more than 18 million businesses, homes and other residential and commercial energy customers in 2,500 of the 3,141 counties in the United States. Approximately 12 percent of the population subscribes to energy providers supported by Service Concepts, and Kirkpatrick said there has been a recurring request for a reliable dimmable CFL from the Service Concepts customer base.

PureSpectrum Vice President of Sales Garth Kullman said receiving an endorsement from an established source such as Service Concepts will be invaluable to developing and cultivating relationships that will generate ongoing high volume sales of PureSpectrum’s products. PureSpectrum has placed multiple orders with its manufacturer in order to have the necessary inventory to fulfill any purchase orders generated by the direct mail campaign.

“Being able to work with a trusted distributor like Service Concepts with long standing reputations for professionalism and providing high quality products will lend a high degree of credibility to our products and help us achieve our short-term and long-term sales and revenue goals,” Kullman said. “This relationship with Service Concepts provides a large scale, rapid entrance into the utilities market to satisfy the demand for a dimmable CFL that meets performance standards. We will also have the opportunity to engage in ongoing communication with the Service Concepts customer base to encourage sales, and we will be able to introduce additional PureSpectrum products into the Service Concepts catalog as they are launched.”
