    SAVANNAH, GA – PureSpectrum, Inc. (OTCBB: PSRU) has received a commitment to purchase dimmable T8 fixtures from a multistory Wall Street building, and several other Manhattan buildings are currently testing the company’s step dimming ballast using motion sensors.

    PureSpectrum expects to receive a purchase order for dimmable fixtures from the Wall Street building this week and will deliver the initial order within four weeks after the purchase order is received. This initial fixture order will be installed in conjunction with motion sensors in the building’s mechanical room and will be used as a pilot program to determine whether step dimming would be effective in other areas of the building such as hallways, corridors and stairwells.     PureSpectrum president and CEO Lee Vanatta said the terms of the two-year agreement with Dr. Gadget® is category exclusive for lighting and dimmable CFLs.     Lighting solutions company adding multiple new products, including additional CFL reflectors, GU-24 pin-based CFLs and one-switch step-dimming ballast

    SAVANNAH, GA – PureSpectrum, Inc. (OTCBB: PSRU) is continuing to build its full product line with the addition of multiple products in both the Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) and linear fluorescent lighting categories.

    The company has added a 15-watt R20 CFL reflector bulb, GU-24 pin-based CFL bulbs in multiple wattages and a 15-watt A-lamp CFL bulbs. The bulbs being added to the product line are all high Power Factor dimmable CFLs and certified by both Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Star program.     SAVANNAH, GA – Purespectrum (OTBB: PSRU) is launching the company’s first Light Emitting Diode (LED) product, a PAR38 rated for 30,000 hours with light output equivalent to a 75-watt incandescent bulb that can be used indoors or outdoors with equal effectiveness.

    The midsize reflector is certified by Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and is another addition to PureSpectrum’s rapidly growing product portfolio which also includes multiple styles and wattages of dimmable Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL), dimmable ballasts for linear fluorescent lighting and dimmable linear fluorescent fixtures.     Ferguson, founded in 1953, is a diverse wholesale distributor spanning multiple business groups, including plumbing, mechanical and waterworks contractors, kitchen and bath dealers, residential and commercial builders, large industrial businesses, manufacturers and local and state government agencies.     SAVANNAH, GA – In a March 15 press release Purespectrum announced that it is submitting a dimmable compact fluorescent lamp and dimmable ballast for independent testing and evaluation by the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), and in the release incorrectly implied that EPRI’s testing results could be construed as an endorsement of the products or their capabilities.

    EPRI conducts research and development relating to the generation, delivery and use of electricity for the public benefit. As part of its comprehensive R&D portfolio EPRI’s testing of various technologies is intended to provide objective findings for use by the electricity sector, its stakeholders, regulators and policy makers, but its findings may not be used to construe, in the words of Pure Spectrum’s earlier release that “. . . a positive product rating from EPRI is like a seal of approval for utility companies.” Read More »

    SAVANNAH, GA – Purespectrum (OTBB: PSRU) is submitting its dimmable Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) and will submit its step dimming electronic ballast for linear fluorescent lighting for testing with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), an independent non-profit organization which provides information and guidance for member utility companies which represent more than 90 percent of the electricity generated in the United States.

    EPRI, which has a membership that bridges 40 countries, brings together scientists and engineers as well as experts from academia and industry to help assess and address challenges in electricity, including reliability, efficiency, health, safety and the environment.
